Job Description

Role Overview: As a Performance Management Analyst in the Performance Services team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and reliable performance reporting and analysis to internal clients such as fund managers, product managers, and client directors. You will work with various asset classes like Equities, Fixed Income, Multi Asset, Commodities, EMD, and Property through performance systems like Bi-Sam and B-One. Your role will involve enhancing your knowledge of investment strategies, developing reporting solutions for new products, ensuring performance and attribution calculations are accurate, resolving issues, and identifying areas for process efficiencies. Key Responsibilities: - Enhance your knowledge of investment strategies and attribution requirements to develop reporting solutions for new products and enhance offerings for existing complex products - Maintain updated procedure notes covering general processes and new functionality - Ensure accurate performance and attribution calculations and reporting within agreed service levels - Provide analysis and consultancy on GIPS composites to internal clients, ensuring quality assurance of output and resolving issues - Act as an escalation point for junior team members, resolving queries within acceptable timeframes, and liaising with internal clients - Identify and implement efficiencies in existing processes, systems, or workflows - Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts, sharing expertise and guiding professional development - Evaluate and test new processes or modifications, conduct investigations into complex issues, and serve as a subject matter expert - Maintain up-to-date knowledge, demonstrate professional behavior, and promote a culture of excellence Qualifications Required: - Degree or A Level (or equivalent) in a numerate subject, with IAQ/IMC preferred - Experience in influencing and interacting with other teams, delivering to tight deadlines, and prioritizing conflicting requirements - Good understanding of investment instruments, derivative instruments, complex investment products, and AI fundamentals - Understanding of performance topics such as GIPS composites, attribution methodologies, and ex-post risk statistics - Technical understanding of investment processes and financial instruments - Experience in performance reporting for a broad range of investment products - Proficiency in Excel, and experience with Word, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, Access, and SQL (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.)
