As an Associate Financial Analyst at AP Moller Maersk, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards to provide actionable financial insights. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and modeling financial/accounting datasets, designing and optimizing DAX queries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions. Your role will also involve ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and consistency across reports and dashboards, as well as staying updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices in data visualization and financial analytics. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for financial insights. - Analyze and model financial/accounting datasets to support business decisions. - Design, implement, and optimize DAX queries for efficient data calculations. - Collaborate with finance, IT, and business units for requirements gathering. - Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data across reports. - Optimize data models for enhanced reporting performance. - Stay updated on Power BI features and best practices. - Engage with stakeholders to align objectives and expectations. - Identify and resolve conflicts effectively within the team. - Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences. - Develop project plans, set milestones, and manage deadlines effectively. Qualifications Required: - 6 to 10 years of experience in financial data analysis and Power BI dashboard development. - Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX. - Strong understanding of financial/accounting datasets and reporting requirements. - Expertise in data modeling and performance optimization in Power BI. - Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SQL databases. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
