Introduction Thomson Reuters conducted a change program to transition from a holding company to an operating company. Therefore, this position provides the opportunity to shape and scale the recently created Enterprise Architecture team and mature mechanisms to enable application teams. Thomson Reuters migrated hundreds of applications to the Cloud and continuously invests in generative AI initiatives and acquisitions. These efforts aim to transform how professionals work in legal, tax, accounting, compliance, government, and media. About The Role: Enhance architecture transparency by working with application teams to document their architectures and technology stacks, and to understand their architecture challenges. Increase the maturity of the architecture documentation lifecycle management. Create mechanisms to identify and report technical debt. Facilitate the creation of architecture standards, converging tech stacks, focusing on cloud-modernization leveraging cloud-native technologies. Work across product- and platform teams to shape the creation and alignment of technology stacks. Increase the maturity of the standards creation and lifecycle management. Foster the adoption of architecture standards by collaborating with product- and platform engineering architects to create application templates and leverage infrastructure as code. Provide documentation to help application teams adopt these standards. Define and enhance ways of working. Improve the maturity of enterprise architecture processes. Build automated mechanisms using modern cloud technologies and Generative AI to automate architecture governance. Facilitate architecture planning by collaborating with various application teams to define future architectures and roadmaps. Support initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions by providing architectural expertise and continuously optimizing architecture mechanisms. About You: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in enterprise or IT architecture, with a focus on documenting current architectures, developing target architectures and roadmaps, and managing application and technology portfolios. Five years of experience in a customer-facing role focused on translating customer needs into architecture standards and patterns. Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to iteratively enhance governance processes and define approaches with clear steps and deliverables. Proficient in using GenAI-powered assistants, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and citizen development. Able to explore and implement innovative data integration and analysis solutions. Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level IT solutions. Proficiency in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing at all levels of the organization. Ability to earn trust and drive consensus across different stakeholder groups. Skilled in migrating and transforming legacy customer solutions to cloud platforms. Experienced in managing IT due diligence and integration planning for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
