Associate Engineer NetDevOps, NCT

Role Overview: Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) at Deutsche Bank is seeking an Associate Engineer NetDevOps to be responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of the bank's network infrastructure across various global offices. The role involves deploying network infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high network availability. The ideal candidate should be technically proficient, innovative, and committed to continuous learning. Key Responsibilities: - Execute deployment of network infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems at multiple sites - Implement automated network solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible - Work with operations and engineering teams to enhance network design, improve performance, and minimize latency - Document deployment procedures, network diagrams, and configurations - Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers Qualifications Required: - Up to 2 years of experience in a corporate global network environment, preferably within financial institutions - Proficiency in networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, and VXLAN - Familiarity with networking hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, or similar providers - Ability to challenge assumptions constructively and drive change - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Learning agility, innovation, and proactive mindset - Good to have exposure to Infrastructure as a Code and willingness to learn - Working knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages like YAML, JSON, or Python - Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git - Certification as a technical engineer, such as Cisco CCNA or equivalent - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as per business requirements Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank promotes a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, encouraging curiosity, innovation, leadership, and teamwork.
