Associate Engineer-Mechanical

Role Overview: As an Associate Engineer-Mechanical at Black & Veatch, you will be working under general supervision to apply your technical expertise. You will continue to build on your experience, gaining more knowledge and working on larger and more complex assignments. Additionally, you may start to expand your knowledge into other disciplines and functional areas. Key Responsibilities: - Continuously learn and stay updated on departmental design guides, standards, systems, engineering codes, and company policies to apply them to assigned tasks. - Develop independently and apply knowledge while complying with the company's quality program. Support continuous improvement and change management efforts. - Prepare various engineering deliverables, research equipment and material recommendations, collect and manage engineering data, and perform complex engineering calculations. Adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements. - Recognize, define, and resolve problems within your assigned area. Provide direction and guidance to entry-level professionals and interns. - Coordinate with project leadership and team members on less complex projects. Interact with other disciplines on design work details. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program. - Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
