Associate Engineer, Batch & Middleware

As an Associate Engineer specializing in Batch and Middleware (Control-M), you will be responsible for performing batch monitoring and scheduling within a 24*7 support architecture. Your role will involve enhancing and introducing best practices to utilize workload automation tool (Control-M), troubleshooting batch framework, and providing effective solutions. You will collaborate with various teams to understand requirements and processes, ensuring that resources are prepared to meet the necessary productivity levels. Your mandatory skills should include basic hands-on experience in operating systems such as Linux and Windows, as well as proficiency in SQL. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with stakeholders and team members. Your day-to-day tasks will involve meeting with stakeholders to ascertain system needs, designing job workflows, troubleshooting and resolving issues, configuring workflows, responding to general IT requests, and compiling monthly reports. You should possess extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems, familiarity with various operating systems, enterprise solutions, programming languages, and office software. Additionally, good communication skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues, and an understanding of database and networking security systems are crucial for success in this role. This position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring your presence in the office for 3 days per week.
