Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HT and LT switchgear panels, transformers, and distribution systems.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance of Diesel Generator (DG) sets, PLC-based panels, and motor control centers (MCCs).
Attend to electrical breakdowns promptly and effectively to ensure minimal production loss.
Monitor and maintain utilities such as Air Compressors, STP/ETP, HVAC systems, and AHUs.
Support BMS (Building Management System) and EMS (Energy Management System) operations and basic configuration.
Ensure proper earthing, insulation testing, and compliance with electrical safety standards.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, breakdown logs, and checklists.
Assist in energy-saving initiatives and electrical system improvements.
Coordinate with other departments during shutdowns, installations, and commissioning of equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety audits and training sessions.
