Job Description

Talent Worx is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our SIEM solutions to ensure the security of our systems and data infrastructure. You will lead initiatives to develop and implement analytics strategies that optimize the detection of security incidents and enhance our incident response capabilities.As an critical member of the security team, you will work closely with various stakeholders to establish security protocols, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the SIEM environment, including the deployment, configuration, and tuning of SIEM tools
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security monitoring strategies that align with organizational goals
  • Collaborate with incident response teams to analyze events and investigate incidents to determine root causes and appropriate remediation
  • Generate reports and metrics on security incidents and SIEM effectiveness for senior management
  • Stay updated on the latest threats and trends in cybersecurity to refine detection methods
  • Lead security awareness training programs for internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in information security, with a focus on SIEM technologies
  • Proven experience with any SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar)
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks, compliance regulations, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security events
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams
