Description
You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying MDG-C / BP and integrated digital solutions in the area of Data Design as a part of the LDC Finance team in Novartis. Your main responsibilities will include: - Owning and driving Solution Design for Customer Master Data by addressing all business requirements and opportunities while adhering to Novartis architectural standards, quality, and information security principles. - Collaborating closely with Business Leads, Global Process Owners (GPOs), and Enterprise Process Leads (EPLs) to propose standardized and simplified integrated solutions. - Championing the standardization and simplification of design, minimizing custom solutions only when necessary for cases where Novartis makes a difference in the market. - Preparing and conducting design workshops in the assigned Products, identifying critical integration points and dependencies, proposing solutions for key gaps, providing effort estimations, and ensuring alignment with business and other teams. - Ensuring consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, Agile ways of working, DevSecOps, architectural roadmaps, regulatory/control requirements, and smooth transition of solutions to operations. - Delivering assigned project work within the agreed timeline, budget, and quality standards. Minimum requirements for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in business/technical domains with over 10 years of relevant professional IT experience in the related functional area. - Thorough knowledge in MDG-C (Customer & BP) with hands-on experience in setting up customer master and MDG Business Partner. - Experience in SAP MDG-C, SAP SD, and eco-system applications in Pharma and/or Food & Beverage industry, including experience in Customization Synchronization and Interfaces to non-SAP applications like CRM, MDM. - SAP certifications/trainings in specified module(s)/process areas are preferable. - Broad industry experience and understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes, Agile project delivery, and general management in an international environment. - Excellent knowledge of business processes, experience in regulated system environment, and ability to communicate effectively in the business language when discussing IT subjects. - Experience in advising peers and senior customers on complex issues, providing guidance to influence actions of internal and/or external partners, and managing internal and external experts in different locations and time zones.
