Job Description

As a Product Manager at Morgan Stanley in the Wealth Management Platforms organization, you will play a crucial role in building an industry-leading, highly automated lending platform that supports the growth of Securities Based Lending, Tailored Lending, and Mortgage businesses. Your responsibilities will include: - Working in a fun, fast-paced environment to design new and improved technology for clients and internal staff - Designing innovative products with market-leading competitive advantages to transform the management and spending of money - Collaborating with technology, business, and control partners to define and write requirements - Engaging in end-user research and using data analysis to inform requirements writing and wireframe design - Presenting findings and project updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders - Leading Agile product management teams, collaborating with cross-functional groups and driving decision-making - Collaborating with legal, compliance, risk, technology, and operations teams to enhance processes and streamline lending product workflows - Diagnosing and resolving technical issues or system errors within the lending pricing platform Qualifications required for this role include: - 2-5 years of professional experience in technology product management and design - 2-5 years of professional experience in wealth management, retail banking, and/or consumer financial technology - Knowledge or experience with fixed income securities and lending products - Experience in building complex internal systems with a focus on underwriting, credit risk management, or pricing - Experience with software business analysis - BA/BS degree Skills and abilities that will be beneficial in this role: - Professional experience in consumer technology, banking, wealth management, and/or top-tier consulting firms - Strong attention to detail in technical and non-technical capacities - Focus on usability and design aesthetics - Excellent relationship building capabilities with internal and external partners - Independent initiative and comfort working in a fast-paced environment - Strategic thinking abilities to define and evaluate alternatives and translate goals into project tasks - Excellent communication skills with solid written and verbal presentation abilities - Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work - Adaptability to change and evolving business needs - Ability to measure a business problem to quantify the issue and benefits from a technology solution Morgan Stanley is committed to diversity and maintaining excellence in service.
