Associate Data Scientist

As an Associate Data Scientist in Chennai, your role involves developing analytics models using specialized tools based on the business problem and available data. You are responsible for identifying the appropriate models, developing the necessary code or package to implement them, and evaluating the validity of the models both scientifically and from a business perspective. Additionally, you will support the Data Science Team in designing and executing analytics projects, working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to complete tasks and deliverables, and collaborating across multiple sets of stakeholders to meet project goals. Key Responsibilities: - Develop analytics models using specialized tools based on business problems and available data - Identify the right set of models and develop code/packages to execute them - Evaluate the validity of models scientifically and from a business perspective - Support the Data Science Team in design and execution of analytics projects - Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to complete tasks and deliverables - Collaborate across multiple sets of stakeholders to deliver project deliverables and tasks - Identify actionable insights that address challenges/opportunities - Articulate business insights and recommendations to stakeholders - Understand business KPIs, frameworks, and drivers for performance Qualifications Required: - B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, M.C.A In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the role requires deep expertise in machine learning techniques such as Decision Trees, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Support Vector Machines, Clustering, Bayesian Networks, Reinforcement Learning, Feature Reduction/engineering, Anomaly deduction, Natural Language Processing (including Theme deduction, sentiment analysis, Topic Modeling), and Natural Language Generation. You should also have strong experience in specialized analytics tools and technologies like Python, NLP, IP, DL, SPSS, Spotfire, Tableau, Qlickview, and familiarity with Operations Research tools such as AIMS, Cplex, Matlab. Awareness of technologies like Data Bricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Agile/Scrum ways of working is also beneficial for this role.,
