9 - 12 Years 1 Opening Kochi, Trivandrum Role description Job Title: Data Architect / Cloud Data Specialist Role Overview: Leverage your expertise in data architecture and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) to design, develop, and implement data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions. Drive architecture for small to mid-size projects, support teams in developing proofs of concept (POCs), and ensure alignment with business workflows and data strategies. Key Responsibilities: Architect and implement ETL/data warehouse solutions, data pipelines, and cloud data tools. Understand business workflows, design data acquisition, transformation, and modelling strategies. Develop data models, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions. Define data governance standards including naming conventions, security, backup, and recovery. Guide estimation, troubleshooting, and POC development for customer-specific solutions. Collaborate with project teams to ensure data architecture aligns with business goals and regulatory compliance. Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing and best practices. Stay current with emerging technologies and obtain relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP/Big Data/ML). Skills & Experience: Strong experience with database architecture, ETL, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficient in data workflow design, data modelling, and BI tools. Familiarity with big data technologies, scripting languages (Python, Java), and SQL. Knowledge of project management, agile practices, and ability to support medium-sized projects. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Certifications in cloud or big data technologies preferred.
