Associate Consultant / Sr. Associate Consultant (Pediatric Cardiac Anaethesia)

Role Overview: - Adapt a professional approach with patients, staff, and visitors. - Provide medical cover, routine and emergency, in conjunction with other specialties. - Follow clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols. - Actively participate in teaching programs for postgraduate students and RMOs. - Identify complex health problems and report to the concerned doctor. - Supervise postgraduate students in clinical management. - Prescribe pain management medicines when necessary. - Communicate effectively with patients, family, colleagues, and healthcare workers. - Write treatment orders in capital letters and ensure proper documentation. - Perform procedures like Lumbar puncture, epidural catheter, central lines, arterial lines, under supervision. - Follow on-call and duty rota based on department requirements. - Contribute to Quality Improvement Initiatives and organization protocols. Qualification Required: - MBBS degree. - DNB/MD in Anaesthesia or Pediatrics. - Fellowship in Pediatric ICU or Pediatric Anaesthesia. - Training in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
