Associate Consultant / Senior Associate Consultant - Plastic Surgery

As a member of the Medical Staff department in Mumbai, you will be expected to uphold a professional approach towards all patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include providing medical cover both during routine hours and in emergency situations. You will collaborate with other specialties within the institute to ensure comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Adhere to clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols, such as wearing gloves, aprons, and maintaining hand hygiene. - Be willing and available to see patients as needed. - Assist consultants in the operation theatre and support surgeries under their supervision. - Demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to identify and address complex surgical issues in emergency situations with consultant approval. - Supervise the daily clinical management of patients in coordination with Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) and under the guidance of Consultants. - Ensure completion of patient reports and documentation, including obtaining consents for surgeries and procedures. - Maintain effective communication with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. - Write treatment sheets with diagnoses in capital letters when necessary, ensuring each sheet is dated, named, and signed by the responsible doctor. - Accompany Consultants for rounds and conduct independent rounds, following up on patients for further care as needed. - Adhere to on-call and duty schedules based on departmental requirements. Qualifications Required: - MBBS degree - MS/DNB/MD/MCH/DM in Plastic Surgery ,
