Associate Consultant _MES / Opcentre/ Camstar

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MES Opcenter Designer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of the Siemens Opcenter Manufacturing Execution System (MES) along with expertise in Crystal Reports and MIO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing MES systems to enhance manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities: MES Opcenter Design and Implementation:

• Design, configure, and deploy Siemens Opcenter (formerly known as Camstar) MES solutions in alignment with business needs and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective MES workflows and solutions.
• Perform system upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensure the overall stability of the MES platform.

  Crystal Reports Development:

• Design and develop customized Crystal Reports to provide actionable insights into production and manufacturing data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports that support decision-making.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Crystal Reports for performance and accuracy.

  MIO (Manufacturing Integration and Optimization):

• Work with MIO solutions to integrate MES with other enterprise systems like ERP, PLCs, SCADA, and databases.
• Design and implement MIO interfaces for data exchange, ensuring accurate and real-time data flows across systems.
• Optimize the MIO layer to improve data accuracy, system efficiency, and real-time decision-making

• Testing and Troubleshooting:

• Conduct thorough testing of MES applications to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data flow, system interfaces, and custom reports.
• Provide support during go-live and post-implementation phases to ensure seamless operations

• Documentation and Training:

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for MES configurations, custom reports, and integration points.
• Train users and internal teams on MES functionalities, reports, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) or other MES platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Crystal Reports design and development.
• Experience with Manufacturing Integration and Optimization (MIO) solutions and their implementation.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, data flow, and system integration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other report-generation tools and data visualization platforms.
• Knowledge of industry-specific standards and practices for manufacturing systems.
• Previous experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and their integration with MES.
