Associate Civil

As a Civil Engineer at Mott MacDonald, you will be responsible for a variety of key duties to contribute to the successful delivery of projects. Here is a breakdown of what will be expected from you: - Carry out civil engineering design tasks such as hydraulic calculations/analysis, preparation of general arrangement drawings, pipe longitudinal sections, specifications, and BOQs - Prepare and review tenders, detailed design/engineering of water and wastewater networks according to industry/client standards - Coordinate effectively with other disciplines to deliver multi-disciplinary projects successfully - Ensure adherence to designers duties under the contract - Perform design activities throughout the project life-cycle in line with client standards and specifications - Prepare and review various reports and project documentation to ensure compliance with client requirements - Ensure quality control processes are followed and deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations - Standardize workflows based on project requirements - Drive innovation into designs and promote best practices in health, safety, and environmental matters - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as clients, vendors, subcontractors, and consultants - Identify, define, and resolve problems within the assigned area - Interpret design risks and assumptions and record them as the project progresses Qualifications and Experience required: - BE in Civil Engineering, Post Graduation in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred - Minimum 15 years of experience in Water/Wastewater Pipelines and Networks - Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is preferable - Good knowledge of the design process and engineering principles - Experience in working on multidisciplinary projects - Strong Project Management skills and understanding of project commercial issues - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Client liaison skills - Ability to troubleshoot and guide team members - Proactive and innovative approach with the ability to adapt to changing scenarios Software Knowledge: - Proficiency in Bentley WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, CivilStorm - Hands-on experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks - Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Document management systems like SharePoint, Bentley ProjectWise, and BIM360 Work Locations: Mumbai, Bengaluru, Noida, Ahmedabad By joining Mott MacDonald, you will have the opportunity to shape your career and work in a flexible environment that supports work-life balance.
