Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at Tesco, your role involves handling first line contact across various queries and service areas through written communication channels. Your primary responsibility is to provide tailored solutions that meet the needs of individuals you engage with, ensuring efficient query handling and delivering the best possible service. Key Responsibilities: - Follow Tesco's Business Code of Conduct, always acting with integrity and due diligence - Understand Tesco's Core Purpose and your role in delivering it - Model Tesco values and lead by example in your actions and behavior - Deliver all relevant critical metrics consistently and maintain reliable service standards - Resolve first line contact and queries efficiently via written communication channels - Minimize impact to customers and colleagues while handling first line contact, aiming for strong NPS scores - Achieve personal objectives, participate fully in conversations with colleagues and managers, and maintain knowledge of work processes - Look for opportunities to improve processes and practices, embrace change, and continually develop your skills - Ensure closure of all open tickets within agreed timescales - Work in roster shifts to support customer queries and complete tasks within agreed metrics - Solve problems by analyzing solution alternatives effectively Qualifications Required: - Customer service orientation with experience, preferably in a written channel - Excellent written communication skills in English - Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment - Conflict resolution skills, empathy, and customer focus - Typing speed and accuracy - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g., Outlook email At Tesco, you can look forward to a unique, competitive reward package based on industry practices.
