Associate Automation Engineer

As an Associate Automation Engineer at Information Systems Associates - Sharjah (ISA-SHJ), located in Pune, MH, IN, you will be trained to design, develop, and implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support business processes. Working closely with senior engineers, you will learn automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies while contributing to the development of cutting-edge technology solutions. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in developing and implementing automation scripts and solutions, collaborating with senior engineers to design automated test scripts, working on automating tasks and processes using tools like Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, or Python, performing functional, regression, and performance testing for automated processes, and writing and executing test cases for automated solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying defects or issues in automated systems, troubleshooting and resolving them, working with business and technical teams to identify areas for automation and process improvements, analyzing existing processes to determine automation opportunities, contributing to the continuous improvement of the automation strategy by exploring new tools and technologies, and learning and assisting in setting up and maintaining automation frameworks and environments. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), exposure to programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or related languages, familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, or similar tools, knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes, familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN), a basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL), good communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in programming languages, automation tools, and databases such as Python, Automation Anywhere, and SQL.
