Associate Architect - Data Engineering

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer on the Data Analytics Data Platform (DADP) team, you will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and delivering business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Analytics stack. Your expertise will be utilized to ensure client expectations and business decision-making tool needs are met. Your role will involve using analytical and problem-solving skills to create scalable and reliable data solutions through data analytics solution development. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and participate in the development of high-quality software solutions for client projects, utilizing modern programming languages and frameworks. - Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and meet client requirements. - Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their technical needs and business objectives, providing expert advice on software solutions and best practices. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting with code reviews, troubleshooting, and fostering a culture of technical excellence. - Work with project managers, business analysts, and other engineers to ensure technical milestones are achieved and client expectations are satisfied. - Ensure software quality through testing, code optimization, and identifying potential issues before deployment. - Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance development processes and software quality. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of work experience in data engineering with expertise in Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Fabric. - Understanding of Agile engineering practices and deep familiarity with data warehouse and lakehouse methodologies, data ETL/ELT processes, data profiling, anomaly detection, data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball), and SQL. - Strong background in relational database platforms and experience with DevOps/Continuous integration & continuous delivery. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction. - Ability to work independently and proactively drive projects to completion with minimal direction. Additional Company Details: The company prefers candidates with availability during US ET and CT time zones, with a shift from 2:00 pm IST to 11:00 pm IST being acceptable for independent workers.
