Associate Architect

About the role: As an Architect in this role, you will be responsible for architecting core components of the platform to handle 1M requests per second. Your main tasks will involve building multi-level, multi-service components capable of supporting concurrent 10M connections and high throughput event pipelines. You will play a crucial role in identifying key areas of success and failure when designing the system and will work closely with the business and engineering team. Your primary focus will be on designing solutions and coding, occupying 90% of your time. Requirements: You should have prior experience in building a fairly high throughput system and web product. It is important to have a habit of asking the right questions and understanding the larger picture to design solutions with a wider impact across the product portfolio. Attention to detail in both high and low level design is necessary, along with the ability to design solutions that not only work but also last. A strong background in Python is essential for this role. Good to have: Experience in a startup environment and having worked on products end-to-end would be beneficial. Being recognized as a rockstar engineer and having a passion for technology are additional advantages. What to expect: You will be working in a hybrid setup from Mumbai, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week.
