We are currently seeking an Associate to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities. Reporting to the Manager, Accounting, this role will primarily focus on facilitating India Accounting, Tax, and related reporting tasks. The individual should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a multi-office environment. Additionally, the Associate, Accounting, will provide support to the Global Accounting & Tax team for accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Specific responsibilities of the role include: - Creating and posting journal entries for fixed assets, intercompany transactions, tax, monthly accruals & reversals, and other transactions to ensure accurate monthly financial reporting. - Preparation of financial statements as per I-GAAP. - Generating reports, workings, schedules, and analyses for various stakeholders. - Managing India tax compliances related to GST & income tax, including filing returns, preparing reconciliations, and drafting replies to tax notices. - Assisting the global tax team in overseeing global tax compliances. - Supporting the annual external audit process by providing necessary documentation and information. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce. - CA Intermediate/ Final Dropout with Articleship experience. - 3+ years of experience in Accounting & Tax roles. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax return preparation, and filings. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. - Problem-solving skills and efficiency in issue resolution. - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Avid, or Workday ERP is an added advantage. - Prior experience in a multi-location entity with multiple stakeholders is also beneficial.
