Assitant Vice President, Financial Crime Investigative Reporting

As an Assistant Vice President, Financial Crime Investigative Reporting at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in managing a team of Investigators and Sr Investigators. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing a team of Investigators and Sr Investigators involved in end-to-end Financial Crime investigations, SAR drafting, and Triage activity. - Ensuring that investigations are well articulated with clear findings, emphasizing high skill levels in written English. - Allocating work and maintaining oversight on SLAs to ensure timely completion of tasks. - Training and accrediting investigators in Investigation Reporting and Triage. - Managing investigation quality to align with internal procedures and ensure correct filing of SARs to prevent policy violations. - Interacting with MLRO/Delegate and SAR writing team for timely filing of SARs. - Identifying and escalating significant investigations for appropriate prioritization, resourcing, and investigative strategy, while communicating ongoing status and mitigating actions to key stakeholders. - Providing correspondent banking subject matter expertise to inform other parts of FCI, including innovations in analytics, typologies, policies, procedures, and engagement strategies. - Managing team performance, wellbeing, and work-life balance to ensure motivation and engagement with financial crime investigations. Qualifications required for this role: - People management experience. - Strong experience in Financial Crime investigation or a related field. - Excellent analysis and report writing skills in English. - Experience with MLRO engagement is advantageous. - Strong interpersonal skills with proactive problem-solving abilities. - High IT proficiency for analyzing large datasets. - Knowledge of Financial Crime is essential.
