Description

The Assistant Mechanic will support the lead mechanics in performing repairs and maintenance on various types of vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assist lead mechanics in diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
Ensure tools and work areas are clean and organized
Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle issues

Skills and Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in automotive repair or maintenance
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Certification in automotive technology or related field is a plus
