Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all civil engineering works including structural design, site development, and building construction for new and existing projects.
Manage
greenfield and brownfield projects
from planning to commissioning, ensuring cost, quality, and timeline compliance.
Prepare and monitor detailed project plans, budgets, estimations, BOQs, and resource schedules.
Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
Coordinate and liaise with architectural & structural consultants, contractors, government authorities, and internal stakeholders for design approvals and execution.
Handle
routine civil maintenance
of pharma manufacturing facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and regulatory compliance.
Ensure that civil works comply with GMP, EHS, and quality norms as applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing infrastructure.
Conduct technical evaluations, vendor assessments, and negotiations for civil work packages.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 1015 years of relevant experience, preferably in the
pharmaceutical, healthcare, or process industries
.
Strong technical knowledge in
structural design, estimation, costing, and project execution
.
Hands-on experience in managing
greenfield industrial projects
.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
, MS Project / Primavera, and other civil design and project planning tools is an advantage.
Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, resolve issues proactively, and drive projects to successful completion.
Familiarity with statutory norms, environmental clearances, and liaison with local authoritie
