Assistant Vice President - Salesforce Lead Engineer

As a Salesforce Lead Engineer at M&G Global Services, you will play a crucial role in driving the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce solutions. Your deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, development, and integration will be instrumental in ensuring scalable and high-performance implementations. You will lead technical teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement best practices to deliver exceptional results. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. You will also be responsible for developing integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and event-driven architectures. As a technical leader, you will guide development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices to optimize workflows, automation, and custom objects to enhance business processes. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to Salesforce security best practices and data governance policies, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Salesforce applications, and work closely with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with expertise in Apex, Lightning, and SOQL. You should possess a strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security, along with experience in Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and event-driven frameworks. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices for Salesforce deployments is essential, as well as familiarity with Salesforce DX, Metadata API, and automated testing frameworks. Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills are also required. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II, Application Architect, or System Architect, experience with Salesforce Einstein AI, Flow automation, and advanced reporting, as well as knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. With 14+ years of total experience in software engineering and 5+ years of experience in a core engineering role using Salesforce, you will bring a wealth of expertise to the role.
