Assistant Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis

The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst position at Citi requires an intermediate level professional to provide management with analysis and insights into the company's financial results in collaboration with the broader Finance team. The main goal is to leverage in-depth disciplinary knowledge to generate and analyze reports while also contributing to the development of new techniques to enhance processes and workflow. Responsibilities include addressing strategic issues on an ad hoc basis, contributing to various quarterly reports such as Competitor Reviews and Investment Reports, generating flash results for Board of Directors and Executive Management reports, coordinating processes like annual planning and periodic forecasting, participating in budget forecasts and strategic plans, analyzing key presentations, and executing time-critical activities for client-facing teams. The role also involves contributing to review material for internal leadership and external regulator reviews, operating with limited direct supervision, exercising independence of judgement, acting as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience with financial platforms, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, possess strong presentation skills, and demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
