Role Summary:

The Assistant to the Coordinator for Psychological Services (Prafulta) will support the coordinator in managing counselling, coordination, and training activities within the department. The role involves assisting in the implementation of psychological services, maintaining communication with clients and the planning and ideation of wellness programme, team management, and staff ensuring the smooth execution of inclusive education initiatives.

Reports To: Coordinator / Director of the Academy
Location: The Stellar Don Bosco Academy, Seawoods, Nerul
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Coordinator in planning and coordinating counselling and psychological service programmes.
• Help ensure that all clients, including those with learning, emotional, or behavioural challenges, are supported and enabled to integrate effectively into society.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client support and interventions.
• Communicate effectively with the entire wellness team to ensure collaborative efforts.
• Help organize training sessions, workshops, and awareness programmes.
• Manage administrative and scheduling tasks related to the department’s functioning.
• Assist in outreach and awareness initiatives with external organizations and NGOs regarding the counselling and support services offered by Prafulta.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Counselling.
• Prior experience in educational or counselling settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Sensitivity and empathy in handling relationship counselling and staff concerns.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency in MS Office and documentation work.
