About the Role:

The Tax Assistant manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure detailed understanding for GST and TDS for the company across locations
• Periodic reports and submission with statutory bodies on timely basis
• Prepare and maintain the data in ZOHO
• Ensure correct TDS master and GST master, for correct rates and codes as mandatorily required.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for review.
• Ensure daily recording and completion of transaction in compliance with standards, act.
• Necessary taxation impacts and recorded correctly.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience

  in recording and maintaining of tax and GST, in the

  retail/fmcg/consumer goods sector

  .
• In-depth knowledge of

  accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliances, and financial reporting

  .
• Proficiency in

  accounting software, MS Excel, and financial systems

  .
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a

  fast-paced, high-growth environment

  .
• Excellent

  communication

  skills.
• Commerce graduates with relevant experience may also apply.
