As a healthcare professional in this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks: - Conducting initial patient assessments by gathering medical histories, performing physical examinations, and inquiring about patients" symptoms and concerns. - Assisting in diagnosing patients" medical conditions and determining appropriate treatment plans based on the assessment. - Collaborating with attending senior doctors to develop treatment plans for patients, which may involve prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle changes, or referring patients to specialists for further evaluation. - Educating patients and their families about the diagnosis and treatment plan, ensuring they understand their health conditions and the necessary steps for recovery or management. - Managing documentation, prescription, and follow-up processes to provide comprehensive care to patients. - Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards. - Assisting in preoperative preparation and surgical procedures as required. Qualifications required for this position: - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree with a Master of Surgery (MS) qualification.
