Job Description : Assistant Service Manager (RO PLANT,UF PLANT,DM PLANT)

Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Service Manager to support our water treatment customers with on-site service, technical troubleshooting, and performance optimization. The role includes Membrane and Ion Exchange Resin (IER) maintenance, system evaluation, and providing practical solutions to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures for Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes, monitor cleaning efficiency and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct laboratory trials for resin performance in softening and process applications, evaluate resin health and regeneration efficiency, and provide recommendations.
• Diagnose and resolve RO system performance issues such as scaling, fouling, or pressure drop.
• Troubleshoot Ion Exchange Resin performance problems including leakage, capacity loss, and channeling.
• Perform comprehensive surveys of RO, UF, and IER plants to assess condition, operation, and performance gaps.
• Prepare detailed service reports with observations, findings, and improvement recommendations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operators and plant engineers.
• Train customer teams on best practices for system operation and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience: 3-8 years in servicing water treatment plants (RO, UF, IER).
• Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with RO & UF membranes and Ion Exchange Resins, understanding of water chemistry (pH, TDS, alkalinity, hardness, silica, etc.), and familiarity with pumps, dosing systems, instrumentation, and plant utilities.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, customer orientation, good reporting/documentation ability, and willingness to travel.

Work Environment

• Frequent field travel to industrial plants and utilities.
• Requires readiness to handle urgent service requirements.
