Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Assistant Security Officer based in Bhubaneswar, with the flexibility of occasional work-from-home options. The Assistant Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and operations in accordance with company policies and industry best practices. Key duties include conducting security inspections, developing and implementing security measures, monitoring surveillance systems, coordinating with security personnel, preparing incident reports, and assisting in emergency response planning and management. The Assistant Security Officer will also work collaboratively with the security team to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security procedures, risk management, and emergency response protocols
• Experience with monitoring and operating security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarms
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail and threat identification capabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form, including preparing detailed incident reports
• Proven leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
• Prior experience in the security industry or a related field is desirable
• Relevant certifications in security training or risk management are a plus
