Job Description

Role & responsibilities Developing, implementing, and maintaining Integrated management systems (IMS - ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001) in accordance with relevant standards. Perform risk assessments and ensure quality risks are mitigated. RDSO/RITES/third party inspections and documentation. Ensuring compliance with quality procedures, work instructions, and customer standards. Ensure all product releases (manufactured and factored) meet defined quality criteria before they are despatched to customer. Preparation and execution of internal and external quality audits. Stopping unsafe work/processes and highlighting the for rectification. Continuous improvement in production process and quality system. Address customer complaints and quality concerns promptly and effectively. Identify and document non-conformities, and ensure implementation of corrective actions. Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure quality standards are met at each stage of supply chain. Quality document control and document change management. Monitor and analyze quality metrics, and provide insights to improve processes. Assist in training and developing quality awareness among production staff. Preferred candidate profile Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy. 2. Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the welding or rail industry. 3. Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant standards. 5. Strong statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: 1. Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools. 2. Knowledge of destructive and non-destructive testing. 3. Good command on Microsoft 365 Key performance indicators: Internal rejection External non conformities.
