As an Assistant Professor in UI/UX Design at Vivekananda Global University (VGU) in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, your primary role will be to inspire and educate students with your expertise in design, innovation, and mentorship. Your responsibilities will include teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding students in their projects, thesis work, and portfolio development, collaborating on curriculum design that meets industry standards, contributing to research and creative practices, conducting workshops and studio sessions to enhance student skills, and actively participating in departmental initiatives and student mentoring. To excel in this position, you should possess a Master's degree in Design or related fields, along with a minimum of 15 years of combined academic and industry experience. A strong portfolio showcasing your professional or academic work is essential. Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Rhino, AutoCAD, and a good understanding of user-centered, sustainable, and inclusive design approaches are also required. This is a full-time role with a day shift schedule that requires at least 1 year of teaching experience, 1 year of industry connect experience, and 1 year of education administration experience.
