Position Overview:

The Assistant Professor in Statistics and Business Analytics will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting high-quality research, guiding students in their academic and professional development, and contributing to the overall academic excellence of the University. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong foundation in statistical methods, data analysis, business intelligence, and decision sciences, with a passion for teaching and research in the analytics domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lectures in

  Statistics, Quantitative Techniques, Business Analytics, and Data-Driven Decision-Making

  .
• Develop innovative teaching materials, case studies, and experiential learning activities to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Supervise student projects, dissertations, and internships in related areas.
• Conduct and publish research in reputed peer-reviewed journals and participate in conferences.
• Collaborate with industry partners for applied research, consultancy, and curriculum enrichment.
• Participate actively in curriculum design, academic administration, and departmental initiatives.
• Mentor students in career development, analytics competitions, and professional certifications.
• Contribute to the University's initiatives on interdisciplinary learning and academic innovation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.)

  in Statistics / Mathematics / Data Science or related discipline.

• MBA

  with specialization in Business Analytics / Quantitative Techniques / Operations Research.

• Ph.D.

  in Statistics / Business Analytics / Data Science / Quantitative Methods (mandatory).

• Experience:

• Minimum

  25 years

  of teaching and/or industry experience in analytics, statistical modeling, or data-driven decision-making.
• Research and publication record in reputed journals (Scopus / ABDC / WoS indexed preferred).
• Experience with data analytics tools such as

  R, Python, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, Power BI

  , etc., will be an added advantage.
