The Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Muthoot Business School is a pivotal role that requires a dynamic and enthusiastic academician committed to delivering high-quality teaching, conducting impactful scholarly research, and contributing to the academic and administrative growth of the institution. Your primary responsibility will involve educating and mentoring students in the principles and practices of operations, supply chain, project management, and logistics management, with the aim of preparing them for successful careers in the business world. This role necessitates a harmonious blend of academic rigor, industry relevance, and a fervor for experiential learning and technology integration. As the Assistant Professor of Operations Management, you will be expected to design, develop, and deliver engaging courses in Operations Management, incorporating contemporary industry practices, case studies, and technological advancements such as AI, Analytics, and IoT into your pedagogy. Your role will also entail developing and revising courses aligned with Muthoot Business School's vision of a "Neo-Tech Global Corporate Business School," employing innovative pedagogy that includes simulations, project-based learning, and industry visits, and producing quality research with publications in ABDC/Scopus-indexed journals. In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will be required to foster collaborations with industry professionals for guest lectures, internships, placements, and research projects. Mentoring students, serving on academic committees, and contributing to accreditations and quality initiatives will also be integral parts of your role. Qualifications: - PhD or Fellow (or close to completion) in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institution (India or abroad). - Passion for innovative, learner-centric teaching. - Strong academic foundation with a research orientation. Experience: - 13 years of postgraduate teaching experience (MBA/PGDM level). - Industry experience in operations, logistics, or consulting is desirable. - International exposure in teaching or research is highly desired.
