Job Description

Position: Assistant Professor – English

Location: Patna

Organization: Amity University, Patna

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lectures in English / Business Communication at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
Design course content, lesson plans, and assessments in line with university standards
Mentor and guide students in academic and professional communication skills
Conduct research and publish in reputed journals as per UGC norms
Participate in curriculum development, academic committees, and university activities
Contribute to seminars, workshops, conferences, and faculty development programs
Support institutional initiatives related to quality assurance and accreditation

Eligibility & Qualifications:

PhD in English
Qualification as per UGC / University norms
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated teaching and research aptitude

Desirable Skills:

Experience in teaching English
Ability to integrate innovative teaching methodologies
Student-centric approach and academic integrity
