Assistant Professor of Computer Science

The School of Computer Science at DBS Global University is looking for dynamic and innovative individuals to join as full-time Assistant/Associate Professors in Computer Science. As a faculty member, you will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service. Applicants with expertise in various areas of Computer Science, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Systems, Networks, Human-Computer Interaction, Quantum Computing, and Theoretical Computer Science are encouraged to apply. Key responsibilities for this position include delivering high-quality instruction at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, supervising and mentoring students at different academic levels, contributing to departmental, university, and professional service activities, and engaging in interdisciplinary research collaborations. The minimum qualifications for this role include a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field, demonstrated potential for excellence in research, a commitment to effective teaching, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred qualifications for Assistant Professor candidates include at least 5 years of teaching or industry experience, while Associate Professor candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of teaching or industry experience, a strong publication record, and proven teaching effectiveness. Additionally, experience in industry, interdisciplinary research, collaborative initiatives, and interest in curriculum development and pedagogical innovation are valued.
