Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering

As an Assistant Professor in Electrical / Computer Science Engineering, your role involves teaching a variety of undergraduate courses including Basic Electrical Engineering (BEE), circuits, electrical machines fundamentals, power systems basics, programming, problem-solving, computing fundamentals, Engineering Chemistry, and related areas. You will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, lecture notes, lab manuals, and evaluation materials. Additionally, you will conduct practical sessions, supervise laboratory work, and ensure safety standards are maintained. Mentoring students in academic performance, projects, and career guidance will also be part of your responsibilities. Using innovative and learner-centric teaching methods to enhance student engagement is essential. Your administrative and institutional duties will include participating in departmental and institutional meetings, curriculum development, and accreditation activities. You will also be expected to assist in academic events, seminars, workshops, and student development programs. Supporting departmental initiatives in innovation, skill development, and industry interaction is a key aspect of the role. Qualifications & Experience: - M.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science Engineering Preferred qualifications include: - Ph.D. (awarded or pursuing) in a relevant specialization - Experience in teaching BEE, CSE foundation subjects, or Engineering Chemistry - Ability to handle interdisciplinary subjects efficiently - Practical knowledge of electrical labs, programming tools, and chemistry laboratory techniques Please note that this is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the specified location.,
