Assistant Professor for Optometry Department

As an Assistant Professor in the Optometry Department at ITM Vocational University, your role involves teaching Optometry courses to students, planning lectures, and preparing academic content for effective delivery. You will guide and assess students to ensure their academic progress, provide mentoring and tutorial support as needed, invigilate exams, and manage academic records efficiently. Additionally, you will participate in staff meetings, contribute to university administration tasks, write and publish research papers, proposals, and academic content, attend conferences and seminars to stay updated with the latest developments in the field, supervise PhD students, oversee research activities, assist in preparing bids for research funding, and fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned by the university. Qualifications required for this position: - Hold a Masters Degree in Optometry. - Possess a positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability. - Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
