Assistant professor for computer application

We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Applications. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, conducting research, and participating in departmental and institutional activities.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Applications (e.g., BCA, MCA).
• Prepare course materials such as syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and exams.
• Use modern teaching methodologies including digital tools and learning management systems (LMS).
• Supervise student projects, internships, and dissertations.

Research:

• Conduct original research in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, etc.
• Publish research findings in reputed journals and present at national/international conferences.
• Apply for research grants and collaborate with industry or academic partners.

Academic Contribution:

• Mentor and guide students in academic and career-related matters.
• Participate in curriculum development and revision.
• Organize or assist in academic events, workshops, seminars, and conferences.

Administrative:

• Serve on departmental and institutional committees.
• Assist in student admissions, exams, and other academic processes.
• Maintain records and documentation as per institutional and accreditation norms.

Qualifications:Essential:

• Master’s Degree (MCA / M.tech Computer Science or equivalent).
• UGC NET qualification (as per UGC norms) or Ph.D. in Computer Science / Applications.

Desirable:

• Ph.D. in Computer Applications / Computer Science.
• Industry certifications (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Cisco, Microsoft).
• Experience with modern teaching tools (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Google Classroom).

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, etc.).
• Proficiency in database systems, web development, and software engineering principles.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Commitment to continuous learning and innovation in teaching.
