Key Responsibilities

The position requires a balanced commitment across teaching, research, and service.

I. Teaching and Mentoring

• Design and deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, including lecture, lab, and online formats.
• Develop and revise curriculum to incorporate the latest industry trends and research findings.
• Supervise and mentor student research projects, including Master's theses and Ph.D. dissertations.
• Provide academic advising and career guidance to students.

II. Research and Scholarship

• Establish and maintain an active, externally funded research program in a specialized area of Computer Science.
• Publish high-quality research findings in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.
• Actively seek and secure competitive research grants and contracts from government agencies and industry.
• Collaborate with faculty across departments on interdisciplinary research initiatives.

III. Service and Administration

• Participate in departmental, college, and university committee work (e.g., curriculum, faculty search, assessment).
• Contribute to the growth and development of the department, including new program initiatives and accreditation efforts.
• Engage with the professional community through service roles, technical reviews, and external partnerships.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching at the university level.
• A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable journals and conference proceedings (commensurate with rank).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning and research environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹190,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
