Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor in the Allied Health Sciences (AHS) department at Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation. The position is based in Salem, Tamil Nadu. The Assistant Professor is expected to deliver lectures, mentor and guide students, design curriculum, conduct assessments, and contribute to research initiatives. Additionally, the role involves organizing and participating in academic activities, seminars, and conferences to further the development of the department.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in Allied Health Sciences and a passion for teaching and research
• Experience in curriculum design, student mentorship, and conducting academic assessments
• Proficiency in conducting research, publishing papers, and staying updated with advancements in Allied Health Sciences
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate in academic activities and foster student engagement
• PhD or postgraduate qualification in Allied Health Sciences or relevant field (preferred)
• Prior teaching experience in higher education institutions is advantageous
