Job Summary:

Assistant Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in procurement of
mechanical and electrical equipment
, spare parts, and related services.
Create and manage purchase orders in
SAP HANA
, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, negotiations, and timely deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels and align procurement with production requirements.
Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and industry standards.
Support cost optimization initiatives and identify process improvements.
Prepare procurement reports and assist in audits when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
Experience:
1 to 3 years in procurement/purchasing within a
chemical or manufacturing industry

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in
SAP HANA
for procurement and inventory management.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment procurement.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of chemical industry standards and safety compliance.
Familiarity with cost analysis and budgeting.
