Asstt./ Deputy Manager Ink R&D

Designation: Asstt. Manager Ink R&D

Reporting to : DGM Ink R&D

Manages : Executive/ Sr. Executive Ink R&D

Job Overview : Contribution in business growth through development of new products, support to customers and maintaining proper lab records.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan lab experiments and characterize as per experimental design input on assigned projects.
Cross functional coordination with production/QC team to ensure smooth scale up of new product technology.
Analysis of customer complaints to provide the appropriate corrective/ preventive action.
Respond to customer requirements through customer visits, managing customer lab requests and work prioritization.
Efficient project management in terms of meeting timelines, documentation & records, etc
Monitor 5S activities in lab. Ensure that professional laboratory practices are maintained, such as laboratory book, housekeeping, and proper calibration state of the measuring pieces of equipment
Adhere to safety protocols.

Essential Qualifications:

Should be a postgraduate in chemistry/ industrial chemistry/ polymers.
Minimum 8-10 Years experience in flexible packaging ink development.
Should have good knowledge on solvent base ink formulation and its raw materials.
Familiarity with printing press operations and client trouble shooting
