Assistant Merchant

As an Assistant Merchant at FashionC Overseas Exports Pvt Ltd, your role involves planning sampling activities with the team and assisting seniors and merchants. You will collaborate with the design and product development team to understand customer requirements, trends, and specifications, assisting in creating product prototypes and samples. Your sourcing skills will be crucial in offering curated designs and swatches to meet buyer needs. Working closely with production teams, you will monitor garment production progress, track schedules, address issues, and ensure timely order completion. Regular coordination with the sampling incharge and buyers is essential. Your expertise in fabrics and processes will be valuable in this role. Additionally, monitoring and analyzing production costs for maintaining market competitiveness and handling bill clearances will be part of your responsibilities. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Previous experience in an export house/buying house - Residing in Noida Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and the work location is in person at Noida, Uttar Pradesh.,
