Assistant Merchandiser for Home Furnishing

As a candidate for the role, your responsibilities will include: - Engaging in internal and external communication with buyers, suppliers, factory owners, and fabric manufacturers. - Monitoring production progress and updating internal tracking sheets. - Following up on raw material sourcing to prevent delays. - Coordinating with production and sourcing teams for seamless order execution. - Regularly communicating with suppliers, factories, and vendors to provide production updates and address any issues or delays promptly. - Collaborating with QC teams for inline and final inspections to ensure quality standards and buyer requirements are met. - Assisting in resolving operational problems at the vendor level and arranging documentation and sample submissions for quality checks. - Preparing purchase orders, taking responsibility for inspections, and having experience in bedsheets, blankets, comforters, cushions, and pillows. Qualifications required for this role: - Experience in the textile industry, particularly in bedsheets, blankets, comforters, cushions, and pillows. - Strong communication skills for engaging with various stakeholders. - Ability to monitor production progress and update tracking sheets. - Proficiency in coordinating with multiple teams for order execution. - Familiarity with quality control processes and inspections. - Willingness to travel as needed.
