Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for 3D Modelling (Solid, Sheet metal, Welding), Assembly, 2D & 3D Drafting/Detailing on Pro-E & AutoCAD.
Support other units for validation, ERP master data template creation, data updating, and validation as per received requests.
Provide technical support for RFQ DFS to the BD team for closing RFQ inquiries.
Collaborate with NPD/QA/Production for PFC, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Sheets.
Manage TCN activities or modify drawings/process sheets as per external TCNs.
Verify new/alternate source parts and new product designs while closely monitoring VA/VE activities at the plant.
To Generate value engineering ideas agreed upon by customers/HOD for margin improvement and budgeted sales realization.
Ensure documentation compliance with ISO standards.
Engage in R&D activities, including reverse engineering and design feasibility for new proposals

Key Accountability

Monitor and analyze engineering data.
Ensure on-time project delivery.
Deliver correct designs to NPD/Production.
Maintain first-time-right standards.
Manage change effectively
