Job Description

As Lead/AM - Supplier Quality, you will be responsible for managing and improving the quality of components for automobiles by working closely with suppliers. Your main tasks will include performing complaint management with suppliers, validating supplier 8D, aligning Supplier KPI targets, monitoring supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement. You will also be involved in developing supplier quality improvement strategies at the plant level and collaborating with the Global Supplier Quality Team and Supplier Management team to deploy Quality tools at suppliers. Additionally, you will support process release at suppliers, drive continuous improvement of serial production suppliers, and manage failure cost regress suppliers. To be successful in this role, you should have 6-12 years of experience in supplier quality management and possess knowledge in PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, Problem-solving tools, 7QC Tools, 8D, and Six Sigma Methodology. You will be required to develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans, trigger supplier escalation levels, provide quick response and sorting actions to suppliers, support supplier PPAP activities, and conduct audits at suppliers to address quality issues effectively.,
