Assistant Manager (Project Management) Job Summary: Product Development & Site Execution Lead R&D
Pharma OSD (Tablet / Capsule) Project Management Experience is Mandatory
This role ensures seamless execution of pharmaceutical product development from feasibility to dossier submission, while coordinating cross-functional teams and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
1. Conduct feasibility analysis for new product proposals across technical and commercial parameters.
2. Define and monitor project timelines via EPM; track progress using EPMS. 3. Coordinate procurement of APIs, excipients, standards, and IFFs with Purchase. 4. Finalize CROs for bio-studies based on cost, method availability, and criticality. 5. Present monthly MIS reports and variance analysis to business heads. 6. Lead regulatory submissions and address queries promptly. 7. Conduct phase-wise project reviews (Review 0–4) for both API and formulation. 8. Evaluate product extension feasibility for new markets.
Site PDG Execution
1. Plan and coordinate pilot bio, exhibit, and scale-up batches with PPC and plant teams.
2. Ensure availability of plant documents and validation protocols. 3. Oversee analytical validations, cleaning validations, and stability studies. 4. Coordinate with QA/QC for timely testing, release, and dossier readiness. 5. Address regulatory queries and ensure closure of deviations/OOS. 6. Provide costing inputs for launch and current year formulations.
