Role & responsibilities 1. Candidate should have strong knowledge Material Purchase in Manufacturing industry will be preferred. 2 ) Should have good procurement exposure in Engineering materials, Fabrication, Stainless Steel. Exposure in titanium Fabrication industry is added advantage. 3) Knowledge in Raw Material Purchase, Consumables. 4) Receiving indents from end users. Right selection of suppliers, issuing enquiries, receiving price quotations, Preparation of comparative statement, obtaining approval from HOD for Purchase order release. 5) Should have Good negotiation skills on price, payment terms & contract conditions, maintaining high level of integrity. 6) Responsible for follow-up of materials & getting the ordered materials in-time. 7) Knowledge in Import and export of materials. Maintaining vendor data base. 8) Follow-up for domestic and import shipments. 9) Documentation works - , Purchase order preparation, LC drafts for finance department, document preparation for import & export. 10) Material Costing and market price analysis. Providing MIS to the management. 11) Knowledge in MS office and ERP system ( specifically in MM Module), exposure to ISO 9000-2015, OHSAS & ASME standards.
